- 12 oz white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate bar or white candy melts
- 3 tbsp red candy melts
- 3 tbsp blue candy melts
- Patriotic sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare Baking Sheet: Line one large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside to keep the dipped Oreos from sticking.
- Melt White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate using a double boiler or microwave, stirring every 30 seconds to prevent burning until smooth.
- Dip Oreos: Using a regular or dipping fork, gently dip each Oreo into the melted white chocolate, shaking off excess before placing it on the prepared baking sheet.
- Chill Oreos: Place the chocolate-coated Oreos in the fridge for 10-15 minutes until the white chocolate is completely set.
- Melt Candy Melts: In separate small bowls, melt the red and blue candy melts. Transfer each to a plastic ziplock bag and cut a small tip off for easy drizzling.
- Decorate Oreos: Drizzle the red and blue candy melts randomly over the white chocolate covered Oreos for a patriotic design.
- Add Sprinkles: Immediately sprinkle patriotic sprinkles on top while the candy melts are still soft.
- Final Set: Let the decorated Oreos set again at room temperature or in the fridge before serving.
