- Add Cream Cheese: Incorporate the softened cream cheese into the mixture and continue mixing until the dough is thick and fully blended.
- Chill Dough: Cover the dough and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour to firm up and prevent spreading while baking.
- Prepare Baking Sheets: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Form Dough Balls: Scoop the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and roll them in powdered sugar or pink granulated sugar if desired; alternatively, leave them plain.
- Bake Cookies: Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
- Add Chocolate Kiss: Let the cookies rest for 1–2 minutes after baking, then gently press one unwrapped chocolate Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
