Add 3 cups mini marshmallows and stir until melted. Remove from heat and gently fold in 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled crust layer and pat down to compact.
- Chill and cut: Allow the layered treats to set and cool for about 1 hour until firm enough to cut. Then slice into 16 equal squares.
