Description

A deliciously creamy Lemon Pie Milkshake combining vanilla ice cream, instant lemon pudding, and crushed Golden Oreos, topped with whipped cream for a refreshing dessert treat.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Milkshake

  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 3 tablespoons instant lemon pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 Golden Oreos

For the Glass

  • Vanilla buttercream frosting
  • 2 Golden Oreos, crushed

Topping

  • Whipped cream
  • 1 Golden Oreo

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass: Frost the outside of your serving glass with vanilla buttercream frosting, then crush 2 Golden Oreos and roll the glass in the crumbs to coat the frosting evenly.
  2. Make the Milkshake: In a blender, combine 1 ½ cups vanilla ice cream, 3 tablespoons instant lemon pudding mix, and ½ cup milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Assemble the Drink: Pour the blended lemon pie milkshake into the prepared glass, filling it carefully to avoid disturbing the coated rim.
  4. Add Toppings: Top the milkshake with a generous swirl of whipped cream and garnish with 1 whole Golden Oreo cookie on top for presentation and extra flavor.

Notes

  • Add a bit of lemon extract to the milkshake mixture if you want a stronger lemon flavor.
  • If you cannot find instant lemon pudding mix, substitute with instant vanilla pudding mix plus a few drops of lemon extract.
  • Use any milk type you prefer, including regular dairy or nondairy alternatives.
  • Feel free to use different ice cream or frozen yogurt flavors for variety.
  • Any cookies can replace Golden Oreos; shortbread cookies work especially well for coating the glass.
