Scale
Main Ingredients
- 1 package yogurt-covered pretzels
- Colored candy melts (orange, red, green, yellow)
- 1/2 cup sprinkles, jimmies, nonpareils, dots, etc.
Instructions
- Prepare Pretzels: Lay out the yogurt-covered pretzels on a piece of wax paper to create your workspace for decorating.
- Melt Candy: Heat the colored candy melts according to the package directions until smooth and fully melted. Transfer the melted candy to a piping bag for precise application.
- Decorate Eyes: Pipe the candy melts into the top left and right holes of each pretzel to create the eyes.
- Add Pupils: Immediately add sprinkles or candy pieces onto the piped candy melts to form the pupils before the candy sets, ensuring they stick properly.
- Set Pretzels: Allow the decorated pretzels to set completely at room temperature or in a cool area so the candy melts harden.
- Store: Once set, pack and store the Halloween pretzels in an airtight container to keep them fresh until ready to eat.
Notes
- Work with about 6 pretzels at a time to add sprinkles quickly before the candy melts set.
- You can substitute Mini M&Ms for sprinkles for added color and texture.
- Use wax paper to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
- Store pretzels in a cool, dry place to avoid melting and keep their shape intact.
