Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prepare for baking the bread.
- Prepare the bread: Spread the cowboy butter evenly over each cut side of the Italian loaf, using about ½ cup butter per half to ensure full coverage.
- Add the cheese: Evenly sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese followed by the shredded parmesan cheese over the buttered surfaces of the bread, seasoning lightly with salt if desired.
- Bake the bread: Place the bread on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
