Instructions
- Heat-Treat Sugar Cookie Mix: Put the sugar cookie mix into a large microwave-safe mixing bowl, and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture reaches a temperature of 165℉ to ensure safety. Allow to cool completely before proceeding.
- Beat Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and beat with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Add Liquids and Extracts: Add the milk, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the cream cheese and beat well until fully combined.
- Combine Sugar Cookie Mix: Add the cooled sugar cookie mix to the cream cheese mixture and mix using the hand mixer until all lumps are gone and the mixture is smooth.
- Fold in Cool Whip: Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip using a spatula, being careful not to overmix so the dip remains light and creamy.
- Chill and Serve: Transfer the mixture into a serving bowl. Optionally top with holiday sprinkles for decoration. Refrigerate until ready to serve to allow flavors to meld and dip to firm up.
