- 3 ounces tequila
- 2 tablespoons apple butter
- 1 tablespoon agave syrup (optional, for a sweeter cocktail)
- 1 ounce Cointreau
- 1-2 cups ice (for shaking and serving)

Instructions
- Prepare the cinnamon sugar rim: Mix the sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl. Take a lime wedge and run it along the rim of each cocktail glass to moisten it. Then, dunk the glass rims into the cinnamon sugar mixture and swirl until fully coated. Set the glasses aside for at least 2 minutes to allow the rim to harden.
- Mix the margarita: In a cocktail shaker, combine the apple cider, tequila, apple butter, agave syrup (if using), and Cointreau. Fill the shaker to the top with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted.
- Serve: Strain the mixture evenly into the prepared cinnamon sugar rimmed glasses filled with fresh ice. Garnish each glass with a cinnamon stick and apple slices if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your festive Apple Cider Margarita.
